There was a crayon box in the attic. Mine. I opened it up and found old coloring books and broken crayons and drawings of dogs — dogs with round faces, floppy ears, big happy eyes, hearts and stars everywhere. I drew those! Looking at them, I remembered something. Those quiet afternoons when I was small. When the world was soft and safe and I had nowhere else to be. I spent an hour flipping through these pages until I knew that I had to create Dog coloring pages for preschoolers. By the time the last rays of sunlight streamed through the attic window, I had made thirty Dog coloring pages.
Some had round fluffy shapes with balls sitting beside them. And how about the rest of them? Others had long floppy ears with a small ice cream cone sitting next to them! Some of them were just hanging around near a sock, while their tails wagged at lightning speed! I even saw one with huge pointed ears, adorned with a bow tie! How’s that for a surprise? Oh no, not quite done yet! Here is a smaller pup relaxing under the umbrella and watching a little rain cloud passing by. That’s because I intended to keep these pictures simple and easy to draw, for my young artists to fill up with their favorite colors! Of course, little additions here and there, like stars, hearts, flowers and anything else!
I know, you can easily find hundreds of dog coloring pages on the Internet with all the perfect details — every type of fur and dog breed! However, that is what makes my creations unique, isn’t it?
